Nineteen COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota today, the total is now 1640
Active cases in Brookings County increased by 4 to 231. Total cases are up by 23 to 3237. There have been 31 deaths in Brookings County and there are 2975 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 113. The County is in the substantial community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by by 11 to 4762. Total cases have increased by 452 to 104,195. The number of people who have recovered is 97,829. Current hospitalizations increased by 13 to 253.
Nearly 48,000 vaccinations have been administered in the state, 1214 of them in Brookings County.
