Attorney General Marty Jackley released the final explanations for two potential amendments to the state constitution that will be on the November ballot.

The amendments were put forth by state lawmakers

One would authorize the state to impose a work requirement on people eligible for expanded Medicaid benefits.  The second would update the text of the State Constitution regarding gender references for certain office holders and persons.

The explanations were drafted after a review of comments received during a 10-day comment period. One comment was received.
