COVID-19 cases increase to 68 in South Dakota, community spread in Deuel County

Another jump in COVID-19 cases reported in South Dakota today, increasing by 10 to a total of 68.

There are 2592 negative cases and none are pending at the state health lab. Twenty-six people have recovered from the virus. There has been one fatality.

There is still just one confirmed case in Brookings County.

Among the counties now reporting cases are Deuel and Hamlin.

Deuel County is listed as community spread as are these counties: Beadle, Hughes, Lawrence, Lincoln, Lyman, McCook, Minnehaha, Pennington and Todd.
