COVID-19 deaths remain at 50, active cases drop in South Dakota

No additional COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota, the total stands at 50.
Active cases dropped by 46 to 1075.
Total positive cases increased by 67 to 4653. The number of people who have recovered is 3528 and current hospitalizations are at 106. The “ever hospitalized” category is at 378. A total of 30,697 negative tests have been reported in the state.
Brookings County remains at one active case and 15 total. There have been 612 negative tests reported from the county.
