Letcher man killed in crash near that town

A Letcher man has been identified as the person who died last Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash east of that town.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, a westbound car crossed the centerline and collided with a semi-truck pulling a flatbed trailer.
The car’s driver, 46-year-old Jason Mathew Price, died at the scene of the crash.
The truck driver, 19-year-old Carson Thomas Fahey of Mitchell, sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
