Name released in Thursday’s fatal crash near White

The name of the young man killed in Thursday’s crash north of White has been released. He is identified as 18-year-old Sean Blom of White.

Blom’s car was southbound on 478th Avenue when it left the roadway and eventually hit a tree.

Blom was was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant and was wearing a seat belt.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
