Nine COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Wednesday, the statewide total is now 2384.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by 14 to 232. Nineteen new cases reported Tuesday. The total is now 5514. Recovered cases are at 5240. There have been 42 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 105 to 7752. Total cases increase by 627 to 170,416. There are 160,280 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 17 to 267.
Sixty-five percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
