No COVID-19 deaths Friday; 425 new cases statewide

No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota today, the total remains 1614.
Active cases in Brookings County hold steady at 234. Total cases are up by 14 to 3268. There have been 32 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3002 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 114. The County is in the substantial community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by by 4 to 4732. Total cases have increased by 425 to 105,638. The number of people who have recovered is 98,576. Current hospitalizations decreased by 20 to 227.
Some 53,775 vaccinations have been administered in the state, 1361 of them in Brookings County.
