No COVID-19 deaths reported Monday as total cases top 5000

No COVID-19 deaths reported today in South Dakota, the state’s total remains at 62. Total cases top 5000.
However, active cases dropped by 25 to 1069.
Total positive cases increased by 41 to 5034. The number of people who have recovered is 3903 and current hospitalizations are at 87. The “ever hospitalized” category is at 435. A total of 40,627 negative tests have been reported.
There is one active case in Brookings County and 16 total. There have been 786 negative tests reported from the county.
