No COVID-19 deaths reported Monday in South Dakota as active cases increase slightly

No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Monday. The total remains 1844.

Active cases in Brookings County decrease by 1 to 108. No new cases reported Monday, the total remain 3535. There have been 35 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3392 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 121. The County is in the substantial community spread category.

Statewide, active cases increase by 19 to 2092. Total cases have increased by 61 to 110,376. The number of people who have recovered is 106,440. Current hospitalizations decrease by 1 to 86.

Some 154,548 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 104,661 people. A total of 4207 doses have been given in Brookings County to 2872 people.
