No COVID-19 deaths reported over the weekend and active cases drop

No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota over the weekend and the total remains at 44. The number of active cases dropped by 50 to 1219.
Total positive cases increased by 100 to 3987. The number of people who have recovered is 2724 and current hospitalizations are 77. The “ever hospitalized” category is at 312. Some 24,572 total negative tests have been reported in the state.
Brookings County remains at 14 cases with none of them active. There have been 490 negative tests reported from the county.
