No COVID-19 deaths reported today; Brookings County and state cases continue to climb

No new COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Thursday, the total remains 169.
Active cases in Brookings County increased by 18 to 185. The overall case count is up 40 to 402. There has been one death in Brookings County and six hospitalizations. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases went up by 138 today to 3013. Total positives increased by 334 and are now at 14,337. The number of people who have recovered is 11,155. Current hospitalizations are down by one and now total 76.
