One new COVID-19 death in South Dakota; two new positives in Brookings County

One additional COVID-19 death reported in South Dakota today, raising the state’s total to 69. The latest death was reported in Beadle County.
Two more new cases reported in Brookings County. The total stands at 26 with eight of them active. Brookings County is listed as having had one hospitalization. There have been 1133 negative tests reported from the county.
Active cases in the state dropped by 10 to 962.
Total positive cases increased by 81 to 5604. The number of people who have recovered is 4573 and current hospitalizations are 101. There have been 55,081 negative tests reported in South Dakota.
