Residential burglary reported north of Lake Sinai

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary just north of lake Sinai.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says entry was gained to the home through an unlocked door. It happened between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm Wednesday.
Various items were stolen including jewelry, musical instruments and chain saws. The estimated value of the stolen property is $4,800.
