Sioux Falls man injured in Sunday crash at Elkton

A Sioux Falls man is hospitalized after a Sunday morning accident at Elkton.
Brookings County Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says a car driven by 23-year-old Kevin Michael Davis was eastbound on Highway 13 when it went off the road into the south ditch and rolled, coming to rest on the south side of the railroad tracks. It happened shortly after 7:00 a.m. at Highway 13 and North Drive.
Davis was transported by Elkton Ambulance to the Brookings Hospital and later air lifted to Sioux Falls with unknown injuries. The vehicle was a total loss.
Alcohol was a factor in the crash and Davis is facing possible charges of DUI and careless driving.
