Two COVID-19 deaths reported Tuesday, active cases drop by 74

Two COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday, increasing the total to 46. One of today’s deaths was in Pennington County, the other was in Minnehaha.

The number of active cases went down by 74 today and stands at 1125.

Total positive cases increased by 58 to 4085. The number of people who have recovered is 2914 and current hospitalizations are 77. The “ever hospitalized” category is at 327. Some 25,624 total negative tests have been reported in the state.

Brookings County remains at 14 cases with none of them active. There have been 510 negative tests reported from the county.
