Two injured in Wedensday rollover at Elkton

Two Minnesotans are injured in a rollover accident on Highway 14 at Elkton.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says it happened shortly after 11:00 o’clock Wednesday morning.
An SUV driven by 50-year-old Esther Hernandez of Tyler was traveling north when she lost control of the vehicle on the icy road. The SUV entered the east ditch where it rolled onto it’s side.
Both the driver and passenger, 61-year-old Sandy Bloedel-Gudgeon of Ruthton, were taken to the Brookings Hospital by the Elkton Ambulance with unknown injuries. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
The accident is under investigation.
