Woman killed in single-vehicle crash near Aberdeen

One person died and three others were injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday north of Aberdeen.

Names of the four people involved are not yet being released pending notification of family members.

According to the Highway Patrol, a northbound van on a county road did not stop at the stop sign at the intersection with a state highway. The vehicle hit a dip and the driver lost control. The vehicle went into the east ditch and hit a tree.

A 79-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The female driver and two other female passengers were injured.
