Woman lying in roadway killed in Charles Mix County

One person died Saturday night in a vehicle-pedestrian crash that occurred north of Marty in Charles Mix County.
Names of the two people involved have not yet been released pending notification of family.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, an SUV hit a 26-year-old female lying in the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The 59-year-old female driver was not injured.
No other information has been made available.
