Eight new COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota today, including one in Brookings County. The statewide total is 446.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by 7 to 357. The overall case count is up 25 to 1590. There have been 7 deaths in Brookings County and the “ever hospitalized” category is at 51. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 42 to 13,367. Total cases increase by 1004 to 48,854. The number of people who have recovered is 35,041. Current hospitalizations increase by 78 to 480.
