The suspect immediately got out and advanced toward the Deputy and ignoring commands to stop and concealing one hand. The suspect was not holding a weapon but he was able to gain entry into the patrol vehicle.

Additional help arrived and the suspect tried driving away. A State Trooper fired 3 rounds
into the rear of the patrol vehicle in an effort to disable it.

The suspect eventually got out and the Deputy successfully used his Taser and the man was placed under arrest.

A large knife and two loaded firearm magazines were found on the suspect. A loaded firearm and more ammunition were found in the vehicle.
