Brookings County rescinds burn ban

The Brookings County Commission this morning rescinded the burn ban they put in place last month.
It was implemented on October 15th because of the extremely dry and windy conditions.
Sheriff Marty Stanwick says Brookings Fire Chief Darrell Hartmann it’s fine to end the ban at this time.
The Commission did so on a 4-0 vote.
