Brookings Sheriff’s Office investigating more loosened lug nuts

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of lug nuts being loosened on a vehicle in Volga.
It’s believed the nuts were loosened on three of the vehicle’s wheels sometime Friday or Saturday.
It has happened to this vehicle several times in the past and the owner has installed some locking lug nuts and they were not tampered with.
It occurred on the 500 block of Henry Avenue in Volga. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 692-STOP.
