Interstate Telecommunications Cooperative (ITC) Announces New CEO

(Clear Lake, SD – February 8, 2021) Today Interstate Telecommunications Cooperative (ITC), announced that  they have promoted Tracy Bandemer to become the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer and General  Manager effective immediately. Tracy will lead the organization in continuing its long history of success in  providing voice, broadband, and video services to its membership in South Dakota and Minnesota. 

Tracy currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of ITC, where she has been employed since 1995.  

According to Warren Brandlee, current ITC Board Chairman, “Tracy is a terrific example of the many loyal and  hard-working employees we are blessed with at ITC. The Board is thrilled to have this opportunity to promote  from within our organization and reward Tracy’s dedication and service to the company and to our cooperative  membership.”  

Tracy, a resident of Toronto, South Dakota, has both her CPA and MBA. She has worked her way up through  the ITC organization in a variety of financial and managerial roles during her 25-year career. She said, “I am  both humbled and honored by the trust that the Board has placed in me today, and I look forward to working  with our great ITC team to continue building on the successes of our past. Our industry continues to evolve  rapidly and provides many new challenges and opportunities. It is an exciting time to be in the  telecommunications and broadband industry.” 

Tracy Bandemer replaces Bryan Roth, who retired from the CEO position at the end of 2020. The ITC Board  and employees thank Bryan for his excellent service to the ITC organization.
