No COVID-19 deaths reported today as case numbers and hospitalizations continue to climb

No new COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota today. The statewide total remains 375.
Active cases in Brookings County drop by 10 to 376. The overall case count is up 23 to 1413. There have been 4 deaths in Brookings County and the “ever hospitalized” category is at 41. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases go up by 127 to 11,188. Total cases increase by 989 to 40,730. The number of people who have recovered is 29,167. Current hospitalizations increase by 18 to 395.
