One additional COVID-19 death reported in South Dakota Friday

One new COVID-19 death reported today in South Dakota, raising the state’s total to 65. The death was reported in Meade County.
Active cases increased by 13 to 1033.
Total positive cases increased by 30 to 5277. The number of people who have recovered is 4179 and current hospitalizations are at 83. There have been 48,086 negative tests reported in South Dakota.
No new cases reported in Brookings County. The total remains at 20 with four active. There have been 869 negative tests reported from the county.
