State extends and expands small business relief program

The State of South Dakota is expanding its Small Business and Healthcare Provider Relief Program by extending the application window, lowering the minimum grant threshold, raising the maximum grant amount and decreasing the business loss eligibility percentage.

The application period has been extended b y one week, from today to October 30th. The minimum grant threshold has been decreased from $750 to $500. Maximum grant amounts have been increased from $100,000 to $500,000. The eligibility requirement has been expanded from a 25% reduction in business to a 15% reduction in business.

There is also a program for community-based healthcare providers.
