Two COVID-19 deaths reported today; Brookings County cases continue to increase

Two COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota today, the total is now 77.
Two additional cases in Brookings County Tuesday. The total is 38 with 12 of them active. There have been 1302 negative tests reported from the county. Brookings county is now listed as having two “ever hospitalized” from the virus.
Statewide, active cases dropped by 72 and are at 820. Total positive cases increased by 38 to 5966. The number of people who have recovered is 5069 and current hospitalizations are 92. There have been 61,236 negative tests reported in South Dakota.
