Voter registration open for April 9 Brookings Municipal Election

Voter registration for the April 9th Brookings City Election is open through Monday, March 25th at 5:00 p.m.

If you are not registered bby that date and time, you won’t be able to vote in the municipal election.

If you’re not sure if you’re registered, check the Voter Information Portal at the Secretary of State’s website or call the Brookings County Finance Office.

You can register during business hour at the City Clerk’s Office, County Finance Office, Secretary of State’s Office and those locations which provide driver’s licenses, or Department of Human Services offices.

You can also contact the County Finance Office to request a mail-in registration form. The Secretary of State’s Office has them online.

Early voting for the April 9th election begins March 25th.
