Pierre man charged in stabbing death of teen

A Pierre man has been charged with second degree murder in a November 30th death.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says 23-year-old David J. Shangreaux, Jr. is charged in the stabbing death of a 17-year-old female at a Pierre residence.
Pierre police found the victim already dead when they arrived at the scene.
An Initial court appearance for Shangreaux, Jr. Thursday afternoon.
He’s being held in the Hughes County Jail.
